ELVIS PRESLEY Got a Lot O’ Livin to Do / Party RCA 1020 10” Single SHELLAC

1st UK press 1957. ELVIS PRESLEY Got a Lot O’ Livin to Do / Party RCA 1020 10” Single MADE IN UK ON RCA RECORDS. NOTES: Generic white card sleeve in EXCELLENT condition with MINIMAL storage wear and surface wear. Vinyl in very good condition with surface wear. Background noise. A note about original SHELLAC pressings. Tape Generation Hiss: RCA's engineers copied master tapes to create "safety copies" and sub-masters for their regional pressing plants (like Indianapolis or Hollywood). Each tape generation copy added physical tape hiss to the master audio profile this was then pressed onto the shellac. Shellac Hiss: Physical shellac noise usually sounds a bit more "gritty," "scratchy," or "textured" because of the abrasive materials mixed into the stone-like material. Pure tape hiss sounds perfectly smooth and constant. Stylus Mismatch: Playing 78 RPM shellac records with a modern stylus (meant for 33/45 RPM vinyl) rides too low in the wide groove, scraping the bottom and picking up massive amounts of ticks, pops, and hiss instead of tracking the music cleanly. Hear music as it's meant to be heard. I only sell albums that are in VERY GOOD to near new condition. All records will be posted with extra card stiffeners. If you feel the album is not as described, I will give a full refund.
